The Boone's Fork Creek is a catch and release only stream
that starts at the Price Lake dam off of the Blue Ridge Parkway. This great
fishing stream runs into the Watauga River near Foscoe, NC. There are
various ways to access the stream, however, Julian Price Park is the best.
This park is located just outside of Boone NC, on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Be careful because part of this stream is posted so you can't fish the entire
stream.

Fairly easy, 8 foot or less rod, 4 or 5 weight.
Directions:
Take the Blue Ridge Parkway from Blowing Rock toward Grandfather Mountain. Moses H. Cone Memorial Park will be on the right. Turn into the park and go to the back. The stream will be right passed the cul-de-sac.
